Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Flooding with Deployable Flood Barriers
The increased frequency and severity of flooding in many parts of the world has highlighted the importance of flood protection for critical infrastructure such as hospitals, power plants, and transportation hubs. Often, it is impractical to protect such infrastructure using traditional, permanent flood protection measures. In such cases, deployable flood barriers can serve as a practical and cost-effective alternative.
