About Mariana Russell

Mariana has over 20 years of experience in the Utility Construction Industry. She has experience with Electrical Power Distribution Design for both overhead and underground facilities. Mariana also has held the position of OSP Engineer (Outside Plant Engineer) and Site Acquisition Project Manager in the telecommunications industry. She has designed, managed, and coordinated projects as well as supervised the construction, design review, permitting and easement phases of major Overhead and Underground projects for Florida Power & Light (FPL) and FiberNet Direct (formerly FPL FiberNet). Mariana holds a degree from Florida International University, Bachelor of Science, Industrial Technology. In addition, she has Florida International University, Labor Relations & Safety Certificates, and former Certified Maintenance of Traffic Technician. Mariana is currently the owner of Utilities Pros whose team accelerates the design and permit process and expedites the relocation and installation of utilities on new construction projects for owners, developers, and general contractors. Utilities Pros maintains constant contact with the right people to meet our customer schedules and budgets.

Mariana is a native South Floridian and is an active endurance athlete, primarily a cyclist and certified “spin” instructor. Mariana has been involved in the community over the years and most recently with the Dolphins Cancer Challenge during the past 5 years.
