Timothy A. Shaw is a retired Special Agent with over 21 years in the FBI as an investigator. After retirement from the FBI, Tim was the Dean of the School of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences at Tiffin University and still serves as an Adjunct Professor for the Homeland Security Program for the George Bush School of Business and Public Service at Texas A&M University. He has a Degree from Muskingham College and a J.D. from Ohio Northern University.

James Gruenberg is a 30-year veteran of the fire, emergency medical, and disaster response services. His prolific public safety career includes five years as a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department, but is most noted for his participation in the National Urban Search and Rescue Response System (US&R) under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In this capacity, Jim has deployed 14 times to disasters of national significance to include hurricanes Ivan, Katrina, Rita, and Ike
